Why do you work with pre-order styles?
It is overall a more ethical choice for us as company. A pre-order model is a way to only produce stock that has already been sold and eliminate waste. We are also driven by not having seasonal deadlines in the same manner as wholesale designers to have time to ensure that the clothes are in the best possible quality.
How does a Proem Parades' pre-order purchase work?
When you purchase a pre-order style 50% of the price is payed upon order and the last 50% of the price is automatically deducted from your cart in the month of delivery or as soon as the product is ready to be delivered.
What if my order has some items that are pre-order and some items available now?
We will ship out the items in your order that are not a pre-order within 2-3 business days. When the items on pre-order are produced we will ship those out separately.
How long do I have to wait for my order?
This depends on the specific style, but usually we kindly ask you to wait for up to 8 weeks. However, some of our pre-order styles, for instance a one-of-a-kind product as well as handspun and handcrafted styles, can take up to as long as 8 months to be produced.
Why do I have to wait?
We ask of you to wait to fight one of the world’s biggest environmental challenges: overproduction from the fashion and textile industry. Our pre-order concept allows us to accurately anticipate demand level prior to production, so we only produce the number of items that are actually sold.
Do you only sell pre-order items?
About half of the styles in a collection are pre-order styles. We always have available now styles, but in limited numbers. Our seasonless knitwear and some of our essentials are almost always in stock or can be produced again. Discover more.
How do I know if an item is a pre-order?
We label pre-order items with a pre-order logo on our webshop. You should look for this logo on the first product image on a product page. You can also find information about a specific item in the description field on a product page. If you are still not sure, please contact us on hello@proem-parades.com
What does it mean when a pre-order item is “closed for pre-order”?
This means that the “window” for placing an order on this specific item is now closed and the style is in production. If you are interested in an item that is closed for pre-order, please contact us on hello@proem-parades.com. You will be able to join a waiting list.
What is the return policy on pre-order items?

What if I change my mind? Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes, you can cancel a pre-order after placing the order and having paid the first 50% of the full price. To cancel a pre-order please contact us on hello@proem-parades.com
What do I do if a pre-order item i desire is sold out?
Most of our pre-order items are produced from left-over fabric and are exclusive and unique. However, once in a while our manufacturers are able to find more of a popular fabric. Please write us on hello@proem-parades.com if you want to join a waiting list.
