Introduction to ‘Embroidery and Visible Mending’ with Lille Klode

FYI: The Workshop is in Danish.

Includes 2,5 hours workshop + personal embroidery kit so you can continue on your own.

Join us for a cozy evening focused on repairing and enhancing your clothes with embroidery. We will go over basic stitches and techniques that will equip you to upcycle and personalize your own wardrobe. Among other things, we’ll learn the classic patching technique “darning”, as well as how to “write with embroidery” and much more.

“Getting a needle and thread in your hands and putting time and love into mending a hole, sewing on a button, or embroidering a beautiful flower on your clothes is a way to connect with your garments and give them a story. When we personalize and refine the clothes we already have, it’s a way to give them new value.”

The workshop is beginner-friendly, so everyone can join. We provide all necessary materials, and you’ll receive your very own embroidery kit to take home so you can continue on your own.
